This HO scale Norfolk Southern ECO maintenance of way boxcar is made using a Pullman Standard 50'6" waffle side boxcar as the foundation for the design.  The prototype car is used in MOW service to haul recyclable materials.  Several variations can be found - one with a recycle/NS eco alternative energy graphic and the other with an American flag/NS engineering department graphic.  Our deluxe kit comes with a custom decal set printed by Circus City Decals that will create both versions of this car.

HO undecorated 3D resin printed kit.  This car is part of our line known as the Roster Expansion Series. These kits are meant to be quick builds to help expand your fleet with minimal effort.  With molded on grabs and stirrups, these cars can be super detailed or built as is to expand your freight car fleet quickly.

~ Basic kit comes with the following 3D printed parts: boxcar shell, frame, window components, stirrups, solar panels, side panels, stairs, and coupler covers.

~ Deluxe  kit comes with the following: 3D printed boxcar shell, frame, window components, stirrups, solar panels, side panels, stairs, and coupler covers.  Also included are Accurail trucks, Walthers 33" metal wheels, Kadee 158 scale head couplers, 2#-56x1/8" screws for couplers, 2#-56x1/4" screws for trucks, and a decal set with enough decals to create two versions of the car.

Resin printing is not perfect, so minor warping or blemishes may occur.  Applying heat will allow for parts to be adjusted as needed.  Retain the shape while the model/part cools or run under cold water to lock in the new shape.  Test fit parts and sand as needed to unsure parts do not have to be forced.

*Holes for screws in coupler box, coupler cover, and truck mount should be drilled and tapped for proper screw attachment using a 1.8mm drill bit and 2-56 straight flute tap.  Heating the screw slightly before attaching will help warm the resin and reduce the risk of breaking screw holes.

*Kits are printed to order and may take up to three weeks depending on current order volume.
